Day 12 At 09.30 we are on the cruise boat-sized ferry to the South Island. Shortly after landing we drop by Mudhouse wineyard and cafe for some wine-tasting and even local olive oil if we wish. Next, we head to Kaikoura - a major marine wildlife centre, just in case we didn’t spot any dolphins during our passage through yet more great scenery, the Marlborough Sounds.
